was selected as the prime contractor for the Chemical Demilitarization Training
Facility (CDTF) in 1989 and continues to operate the CDTF today.
In 1996, GP Strategies was selected as a major subcontractor to support the startup
and operation of the Anniston Chemical Agent Disposal Facility. In 1998, GP Strategies
was selected as a major subcontractor to support operation at the Aberdeen Chemical
Agent Disposal Facility. Since 2003, GP Strategies has won several other subcontracts
to support the operation of the chemical agent disposal facilities located at Pine

Leverage the personal protective equipment (PPE) training thousands have received.
As a part of the overall training and exercise program at the CDTF, GP Strategies
conducts first responder training in a simulated chemical environment. Over a six-day
period, students participate in a series of live drills that are designed to allow
them to practice their skills in donning and doffing PPE, controlling chemical agent
contamination, rescuing a chemical agent casualty, and conducting decontamination
operations. GP Strategies has conducted hundreds of classes and trained thousands
of students since the start of training operations in 1991.
